Yes,  we had a trichlor degreaser machines at two electronic
plants for which I worked decades ago in what is now called
"Silicon Valley".  The main guy in the machine shop would not
allow us young,  green engineers anywhere near the de-greaser,
but  all the parts we had had made in the shop had to be degreased
before plating.  Anyway,  he insisted on doing the degreasing.
We were making various "parts" for low noise and high power
microwave tubes there.

Some 10 years ago,  I recv'd a notice about his funeral!  Some
sort of strange cancer in his body had developed.

Enough said.
