There are metal and plastic commercial outdoor utility boxes that come in a
wide variety of shapes and sizes (Graybar makes a nice line.) Typically,
they have access doors that are sealed with a foam or rubber (or foam
rubber?) gasket and clamped shut with screws. You have to drill holes for
your cables. For coax, I install either a 2" Amphenol SO-239 bulkhead
connector (a long barrel connector) or a Polyphaser bulkhead suppressor.
Makes it easy to connect and disconnect the cables that way. You could
certainly roll your own version of such a box.
