Here's what I sent to Frank W8HO earlier today in reply to his question
about masts:

If you finally decide on steel tubing for your mast, I'd recommend you
call Joe Varva at Special Metals, Inc. I got very good service through Joe
when I ordered my mast last summer. His trucker dropped the 100+pound mast
in my back yard - I didn't have to lift a finger. Also, even with shipping,
his prices were good compared to a local (75 miles away) source I had been
considering.
