The ceremonial switch to power up the station comes from a 1930s TBL-13 75
watt am transmitter. The lamps were powered from the high voltage power
supplies using dropping resistors, haha. All the lamps still work but are
running on a 15 volt DC wall wart.
We're looking for signal reports. So far the station has been heard as far
away as Conn. The station is currently running 9 watts. Listen for the
"Voice of Arlington" WQYB206 1700 AM.
