I have a 507, so it's apples and oranges. But I'm amazed at 1 meter of
sag.
I find that surprising.
My 507, which has been through all sorts of storms and ice, barely sags.
Maybe a couple of inches but that's all.

Talk to Alf and Charlene, they are good people and will go far beyond
the extra mile to help.

> Has anyone in group installed a Sommers 807, and if so how did you
handle the boom sag? Mine sags 1 meter on each end and I do not have a
way to install with guys attached. I have a tilt over tower, and I am
thinking of installing antenna with elements only to 3 to 4' from boom
and then attaching elements after boom is secured. Seems like it will be
difficult with or without elements to get guys correct with tower tilted
and even with tower upright, pulling that much weight up seems like it
would take a Herculean effort.
