Hello, I would first like to introduce myself, name is Marc Tessier callsign is
VE3TES, I have been licensed since 1991 and active on HF since day 1.

Now that, that's out of the way, I would like to know if anyone has ever
attempted to make use of the matching network used on the Cushcraft R7 series
of HF verticals on another manufacturers vertical, What I would like to try is
to get away without using a ground radial system on a Hygain 18AVT, I don't
care if I would lose use of the 80M band, what is important to me is that I
could tower mount my vertical above another antenna and still be able to use my
rotor...

Any thoughts and or information regarding this install would be greatly
appreciated...

73 until next time ...
de Marc Tessier - VE3TES
