10-20 years? I have a TH7 that started life as a TH6 some 27 years
ago.
It's been in the air most of those 27 years and is still working fine
with no
signs of mechanical problems. Replaced the trap caps and driven-element
insulators a time or two but thats it. It may fall apart tomorrow but
I doubt it.
