Anyone who believes he can identify a 1db change in audio level should set
up a controlled test and try it. After over 20 years in the Pro-Audio
business I have yet to see one person who is that sensitive to level
changes, very few can identify 2db, some can hear a 3db change, but most
require a 4 to 6db increase. The point is, more is always better when it
comes to signal strength but don't sweat the small stuff too much. 73 es gd
