I suspect part of the doubt by some stems from the coverage
given in the past to the "crossed field antennas" .
Not sure what has ever come of this device; a few
were installed in Egypt; planned elsewhere, have
never read of any follow up anywhere within any of
the "usual" publications. Was a lot of controversary
about the theory of operation and some lack of
actual field tested operating data/methods. The
developers were claiming to have new interpretations/
applications of Maxwell's equations of EM field theory.
AntenneX does give "page space" to a lot of new ideas;
that is thought to be a virtue by many. However, my
annual subscription to the zine expired some time ago.
