Not normal.

You do not give any information how you have it mounted, but if you have it
bolted to a plate inside the tower I would check the Four mounting bolts
have not come lose. This has happened to a couple of friends and the threads
were stripped out and Helicoil's had to be fitted, not a fun job. I have
always used a thread lock fluid to lock the bolts and have not had the
problem.

All,

I have a Yaesu 1000 antenna rotor that seems to be making a bit more
noise than usual. It creeks a bit as the wind moves the antennas around.
I recorded some video while on the tower today and was wondering if
anyone could tell me if the noise is normal wear and tear or if it's on
the verge of failure? The rotor is only few years old.

The video is roughly 3MB.

Thanks,

Tony -K2MO
