Lee, I had a quad for a bit....  smile....  The quad's biggest enemy is ice,
not wind.  Had mine up for Fall and half of winter when I lived near
Buffalo, NY. Always a good breeze up there and at least one good ice storm
per year.

That was 25+ years ago and maybe the spreaders & hardware are better now.
But I've had my 3 element yagi tribander up in the air 50 times longer and
counting...
