There are 2 or 3 different size tube top sections. Most hams I know use the 
flat top section and mount a thrust bearing on it. Big arrays use a second 
bearing down in the tower about 4-5' and the rotator is mounted below that.

I also have a 45G top section for 2" tube that Im looking to swap for either 
a flat top section or a regular straight section.
