Dave, thanks for the link.

Just saw your post after mine hi hi.

When I looked at them they looked to be removable and re-usable with a
screwdriver tip.  I will check when I get home, but defiantly a fairly
cheap option. Plus they mention that there are no sharp edges.  I would
say they would be good for the boom and mast.
