Windows Vista is the Windows ME of 2007.

Just like XP was only a facelift of Windows 2k, Vista is a facelift of XP.
(with a few security enhancements) ...

C'mon guys.. We're all still running NT4 workstation with pretty colors. ;)

There will be a new version of Windows in 2009 that should have WINFS built
in, which was supposed to be in Vista. That MIGHT be worth upgrading to. In
the meantime, don't waste your money.

As for Linksys -- They don't know what they are talking about. TCP/IP is
TCP/IP... UPNP might have some issues w/ Vista but you can still configure
it manually and it will work.

Now back to our regular scheduled programming........

This topic needs its own reflector but I just hooked up a brand new PC
with VISTA and LINKSYS tells me I need a new router because the three
year old unit I have will not play with a VISTA PC....what a hoot.
