I have had GREAT luck with Ameritron using a novel device - the telephone!
HI Very helpful, FAST, and accomodating. Having said that, I have to say
that although FAST, my AL-1200 was returned with a huge gouge down the side
of the case! I called, and they sent me another case immediately, plus the
repair was less than 2 weeks. In contrast, MFJ took EIGHT WEEKS to fix a
989C! In the meantime I had purchased a better tuner for my needs! Maybe
"all the same company", but maybe Ameritron is it's own "division", more
autonomous?
