I used a RF choke using 6 turns of RG 214 around a 4 inch black PVC drain
pipe. It replace a RF choke made of the same but just coiled without the
coil form. I think that it has a better side lobe notch as well as have a
better band width. That is 1.7 :1 at 7 to 1.7:1 a 7.220. With the tuner it
works great all band.

I use the Unidilla W2DU beam balun with my 40-2CD and no problem
running 1500 watts.
