I have estimated the total windloading (14 sq ') of my antenna stack to be less
than the max. recommended by US tower...this is a good thing.
However, my total antenna weight will exceed the recommended maximum for the
crank-up....this is not a good thing.
Question: Why is the total antenna weight important ? I assumed the most
critical measure would be the force transferred to the tower due to
windloading. Is that force a function of total antenna weight ??
