Was your plastic owl male or female.
Males, like their human gender counterpart are nice, well mannered and
friendly.
Females, on the other hand can be cruel, spiteful, and totally dangerous
when protecting their nest.

It is always good practice to purchase female plastic owls for
protection, and plastic male owls for companionship.
