I have used various shunt-fed and series-fed towers on 160 meters that had a
variety of antennas, from UHF to HF, and rotors, and never had any issues
with RF from 160 causing damage to things at the top. YMMV

Every situation is probably a little different but I have a 100 foot tower
with TH-11DX, 7 element 6 meter and 13 element 2 meter antennas. I have been
shunt feeding it on on 160m running full legal limit without problems. My
thinking would be that the choke is just a small inductor at 160m and
probably doesn't have much RF voltage across it. Being so far up the
vertical it probably has little current through it. In any case, mine has
not had any problems.
