When I poured my Rohn 25 foundation -- I rented a small electric powered
mixer from Home Depot. Best $40 I ever spent.
I would dump in two 60 lb bags of Sakcrete (not the quick cure stuff),
and almost two gallons of water. Mix for two minutes and pour. Came out
great. I recommend you put the first gallon of water in first, then the
two bags, then the last gallon of water. The first gallon keeps the stuff
from sticking to the mixer.
My 7-year-old daughter helped with the pour. She would measure out the
gallons of water. I used an old milk jug with the top 1.5 inches cut off.
Worked great.
28 bags of Sakcrete later -- and we have a tower!
I recommend you rent a powered mixer.
