Let me clarify myself. I like the extra d-rings that the bosun's seat provides,
not the seat itself. It's nice to have more attachment points for taglines when
climbing or a place to put extra carabiners so that you don't have to be a
contortionist to reach them.

Your email seems contradictory, you say you like the D rings that the
Bosun's seat offers then say you do not use the bosun's seat much and
it adds weight.
