Whenever I encounter this notion, it provokes mental bedlam that
includes a chaotic mix of surprise, appreciation, exasperation,
confusion, rumination on the virtues and vices of anthropomorphising,
remnants of long forgotten equations, memories of antennas gone right
and antennas gone wrong, and fleeting images of wire and tubing in odd
arrangement, all of which can last for minutes. When things finally
quiet down, I'm often left wondering what antennas don't want to work.
