dropping towers

I have the possability to remove 5 250 ft from a decommissioned broadcast
site, and am looking for advise on dropping the towers. I want to cut one
set of guys and let each tower fall. Is there any hidden tricks to doing
this, other than the obvious safety aspects. Particularly will the towers
fall on their own, is there expected to be any kick back at the base etc.
Any advise would be gratefully accepted.
