Thanks to all that responded with ideas on why my A3 went on the blink
during the ice storm. Yesterday the temperature made it to 63F by the
time I got home from work and lo and behold, everything was fine. I am
guessing that it must have been an ice bridge on the driven element.
Luckily, we don't have too many days with snow and ice to cause us
problems like this.
