Ham-II Rotor Anomaly

Disconnect the wires at terminals 3 and 7 from the control box and
measure
the resistance between them. It should read 500 ohms. ( If it is open,
there is
a break in the potentiometer or the control cable.)

You can use an ohmmeter to determine position by measuring the resistance

between either wire and ground which is a good trick if one side is open.

This trick can be used on all HAM series rotors.
