259's soldered on soo.....
I'll throw my two cents in...
Like many other Hams I had many problems for years....
In 1976 I picked up Bill Orr's Radio Handbook and have followed his
soldering directions since then.
Always good connections and no problems.
I like the idea of using silicon grease on the connectors and will
try it this weekend.
