My current plan is to stack 4 Hygain 105CA's in an H-frame to Europe. My
thinking is that this type of system could buy me another hour at the end of
an opening at the top of the cycle, and on the way up maybe get me an
opening that nobody else gets.

I have a 65' Rohn 45 tower with a 5 element 20M on top. I'm going to stack
the 10's at 55 / 25 on this tower. Slightly up the hill and to the SE I
will stick another Rohn 25 tower with another set of 105CA's at 55 / 25.

In front of the antennas the ground drops off quickly about 200' at about
1500' from the base of these towers. The heights of the antennas have been
run in Brian Beezley's Terrain Analyzer program and seem to make sense to
the program. (BTW... My 20M 5 ele at only 60' is killing my stack of
204BA's at 105 / 55 just like TA said it would.)

My gut feeling is that this system will be too narrow for working Europe at
11:00am at the top of the cycle. In other words I'm not banking on this
being my main/only system to Europe. I'm currently building a 7 element on
a 36' boom that will live at 24' that I believe will be the best antenna
when the spots are high.

When Trey (N5KO) and I were at KP2A's station for WPX I got a chance to work
6 meters for the first time ever. I was called by a guy here in Atlanta
(dont remember the call) who was running an H-frame of yagis. This guy was
10db over S9. He told me there were other guys in Atlanta calling but I
couldn't hear any of them. It's testimonial like that, that gets me going
on this idea.

I'm wondering if anyone on this reflector has actually put up and used an
H-frame of yagis on 10M?
