I suppose it could be argued that it depends somewhat upon the environment
you live in.  I have some 25G installed here that I first installed in New
Hampshire in 1971.  It was used then and I would guess at least 10 years
old.  So now it is 26 years later so I estimate its age at 36, and still
going strong.  I am 58, plan to live another 30 years, and expect the tower
to outlive me.  Around here, I'd say 45 should even outlast 25, so 80 years
would be a number I would shoot for.  I would not expect that life in a salt
air or smog environment.

It is just my guess.  Your mileage will vary.
