Tnx to everyone who posted the great responses on the reflector regarding
waterproofing their coax connections. I went out today and purchased some
of the liquid electrical tape that was spoke of so highly during the
discussions. This stuff works great, of course only time will tell but it
looks like this is just the ticket for the new Ameritron remote coax
switch I am installing atop the tower. Not counting the connections in
the shack I have 10 exposed outside UHF connections they will all be new
after next weekend with my new run of LMR 400U to the RCS-8V switch
mounted to the mast. I look forward to not having to climb the tower
unless I want to :-)) Hi Hi!!!
