Good morning.
Please make a note that until further notice, Natan will be unable to reply
to any requests. He has been handling a lot of our e-mail, particularly
since our telephone lines just became operational last week at our new
location.
He somehow managed to call this morning and asked me to make a general
announcement on his behalf.
Most of you do not know that he sustained a serious neck injury many years
ago and has had several surgeries since that time. He keeps very much to
himself about it. Last week, he went in for another operation. Things did
not go well. He almost died and is in intensive care, paralyzed from the
waist down. Having been friends for more than 20 years, I can tell you that
I have never heard so much devastation in his voice. In response to what he
would like anyone to do for him, he simply said, "Please pray for me and my
family."
Knowing that some of you would like to send something, he added that he
cannot receive any cards or flowers at this time.
