Go to your favorite Boy Scout office & buy a
Official Boy Scout Handbook. Page 191 has what you are looking for:
A magnetic declination map of USA & instructions.
What to do with the rest of the book?
1. Field Day -> this book helps (it's a big Campout right?)
2. pg. 317 shows U true North via stars.
3. Helps think abt what to pack on a DX-expedition
4. Knots - needed for antenna work
5. Merit Badges listed in back - go volunteer to be a merit badge
counselor & help find new hams that way.
End of plug,

Perhaps this is the wrong place for this question, but I'm about to put
up my first Tribander. I understand that there is a difference between
magnetic north and true north. Can anyone tell me how much (and
direction) of correction I should adjust to from magnetic north? I live
in the San Francisco Bay area. Thanks.
