Used them in a race car I built one time for all the Autronics compute
signal and power wires... Worled great, and loads better than OE
automotive connectors. You DO need to pay particular attention to
terminating and putting seals in properly.
And true to my OCD self, I flooded the connector cavities with
non-drying, water-excluding gel right before assembly. Never had a failure.

Seems like they could have some application to all the non-RF type
connections made by we hams outdoors, particularly in open conditions.
