ALL of the conductive greases need to be under compression to work.

With the ICE products, you have flakes of metal (Cu and/or Al) in 
grease suspension. In the tubs, they are not conductive. When applied 
to a joint and then compressed, the flakes of metal will make an 
electrical connection and the grease will keep moisture out.
