The point I've been trying to drive home is that a TRUE W2DU design is a 
very good one, and that the multiturn coaxial ferrite chokes I've 
developed are a major improvement over the W2DU design that is also very 
inexpensive to build. They do a better job of preventing feedline 
radiation and RF in the shack, offer much better rejection of receive 
noise, and have superior power handling. 

It's also important to realize that many baluns being passed off as W2DU 
baluns are vastly inferior to his design.
