I installed that winch on AA6PW's tower. Its NOT on the raising fixture,
but on the tower itself.
The bolt holes do align between the two models, although the 2550 does
have the ability to have the holes spread wider thanks to the slotted
holes in the winch.
I would have no hesitation in installing the 2550 in place of the 1550
on the raising fixture.

A larger adapter plate bolted to the standard mount, I made one for a

across town.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Fulton K2550 winch with a TRX80 Raising Fixture?
All,
Is anyone using the Fulton K2550 winch on a U.S. Tower TRX80 raising
fixture? The K2550 seems larger than the K1550 that comes standard and
the mounting plate is probably too small to accommodate the K2550. Any
ideas short of having a larger plate welded to the fixture?
Tony, K2MO
