Bald faced Hornets are nasty.  We had some a few years ago and I got stung in
my arm.  It felt like getting hit with a baseball bat.I ended up using a
professional exterminator after emptying several cans of over the counter spray
into where they were nesting near the house foundation. He used a bellows to
pump in a white powder and I never saw them again.73,Gary K9GS

[TowerTalk] Hornet Nest on the End of the Boom - How do you
safely get rid of this? Well, If it's a round or oval paper nest those are
Baldfaced Hornets.   They are truly the most aggressive.   Any other hornet,
wasp  etc pales in comparison.  I had  such a  nest on one of my beams and
called an exterminator.  No can of spray will help and could lead  to a
dangerous situation.  73,Jim N9WWJames ChaggarisPresident PowerOne Corp.2325
