Excuse my ignorance but I don't see the distinction between the two. The
Mailman lists like this one all have administrators that can moderate the list
which means that some stuff doesn't get posted (censored) based on their
particular agenda. The contesting reflector is moderated while TT is not.
It sounds like there are some minor (?) problems with groups.io but IMO the
benefits far outweigh the problems.

PS - Someone mentioned no ads on groups.io. While there aren't any commercial
"ads" on TT, I don't discourage anyone from posting about some offer that may
be of interest to TT'ers. After all, over half of what's discussed has to do
with buying something.
