Hi,

I use a R8 vertical antenna. is mounted at top of my roof, about 25 ft
from the ground.

I am very pleased with his performance considering that is a vertical
antenna.

The manufacturer claims that the antenna is a half-wave, but I am not sure
if it is true in all bands, especially on 30mtrs and 40mtrs.

I read on this reflector that someone ask some time ago about to add some
radial wires, but no special answer talking about it.

I am thinking to add some extras radial wires to improve the performance
on 30mtrs and on 40mtrs.

Did anyone this experience? If not... Any comment about it?

Fernando.

EA3KU.
