Looks very much like what I did, to take W3OV's foldover 25G down,  
recently.
Ice damage to the lower section made it unsafe to climb, in my opinion.
Although we folded it  in half,  and took the top section off,  we  
ultimately cut the
legs and pulled it over.

Nice soft landing, in a flat grassy field.

As for the comments about 3/8 bolts... there were four of them per  
leg, I think.
You should take a look at the astm tables for extrusion strength in  
hardened steel.
You might be surprised.
