Can anyone shed some light on how best to model an HF yagi stack when one
or more of the antennas in the stack is NOT driven. I *think* that the
presence of an undriven feedline should cause detuning of the driven
element of the yagi in question, particularly if the feedline is floating.
Can you just plug the length of open feedline into a program like TL and
derive the equivalent R and X values for use in EZNEC or similar programs?
What if the feedline is shorted and/orgrounded by the antenna switch? How
would that properly be represented in a model?
