Hi again,

I know this subject is getting old, but the one we use at work is made by
Ideal, and sold by Jensen Tools. Don't know the part number off hand,
although it's listed in their 97/98 Master Catalog as a wire stripper that
handles round cables up to 4/0 copper wire (big stuff - much larger in dia.
than RG-8 coax). It has adjustable depth for sheaths of different
thicknesses, and with a twist will score/cut the sheath along the length of
the cable for easy removal. It's $40 to $50. You can request a Jensen
tools catalog on-line at their www.jensentools.com website.
