I have been cleaning up a TH7DX that I got used, and put up before I
read
or knew about using No-Alox or anything else about the proper restoration
of an antenna.
I've run into some sort of "very" industrious spider that has climbed 50
feet up the tower, out the full length of the boom, and out past the 15
meter trap on the reflector to build its nest inside the section of element
between the trap and the into the tip.
Does anyone know why, but more importantly, how to stop this very
industrious critter? The grass and other junk carried way up there sure
does make a mess, plus retains a large amount of moisture to speed
corrosion and rust.
