That said, IMHO 10' sticking out of a HAMM or equivalent is too much. Put it
inside the tower down a couple of feet from the top and use a thrust bearing and
you're good to go. That's what I'm using with 10 feet of 2" OD, 1/4" wall
chrome moly tubing procured from our local Industrial Metal Supply.
