There are a number of differences. The BA model had problems with
front-to-back in the real world. It's performance was less consistant
than the 204BA. The 205CA has had a number of changes made to the
dimensions to adress this problem. In addition, the Beta match has been
modified to acchieve a proper match with the new dimentions. Hy-gain had
a 205BA to 205CA modification kit which was new charts and new beta
match parts. One other change made was the thickness of some of the 5/16
tubing... in the reflector element I believe, to reduce the incidence of
failure, Their BA to CA kit didn't include this engineering change.
