EFHW tower?  Never heard of one.

The wire will be easiest to feed when it’s a half wave long.
At 135’, it would want a decent ground on 160.  It’s  L/2 on 80, L on 40, 2L on 
20, all high impedance feeds.
Of course it will always work, just better with ground.
Can you drive a rod, lay out a little counterpoise (wires on the ground), find 
an iron water pipe?
I use the 300W MFJ T network tuners.  They are decent, but be sure the rivets 
in the coax connectors are tight.
If not, drill one out and pit in a screw.
