Carlos,

I have a D3 dipole that has been used at two different locations.

1.  At my "regular" qth where it was mounted about 10' above roofline
(about 35 to 40') above ground.  Considering it IS a dipole, I was
extremely pleased with it's operation.

2.  At present it is mounted at the apex of the attic in the condominium
we are presently living in (major renovation at the regular qth).  I
would estimate the hgt is not more than 30'.  Once again I am very
pleased with the performance.

Unless you have very good ground in your area feel that the D-3 would
outperform you vertical.  It's not clear from you post how high the
antenna is above ground as compared to the roof.
