The above link doesn't have anything to do with towers, but it is an
attempt by the Texas Legislature to rein in the power of Homeowner
Associations in Texas, a frequent topic on the TT list. You got to
start someplace.
However, the five months the Texas Legislature is in session every two
years are dangerous times in this state. Half the time the folks in
Austin never know what they are voting on, like the time years ago when
the Texas Senate passed a resolution honoring Albert DeSalvo for his
efforts at population control. In case you don't remember, Albert
DeSalvo was the accused Boston Strangler.
The resolution was introduced by one state senator just to show up his
fellow senators about how little they knew about most of the bills they
decide.
