I have a 20M and a 15M Telrex beam, both 5 elements. The only thing I did
was heliarc the non-insulated elements where they go through the boom.
Though Telrex never admitted the fault, the constant movement of the element
just from wind eventually elongates the holes through the boom. One of the
antennas actually cut through the sleeve that is used for passing through
the boom.
Though performance wise these antennas model poorly they are a mechanical
beast. There are much better performing antennas but not made as stout.
