Please forgive the posting and cut me some slack this one time.
The increased availability of broadband internet access is driving the
growth of home computer networking and many hams are finding this is a
useful addition to their shack. However, some of this high speed
infrastructure is quite susceptible to RFI. Those of us who are
considering the investment in wiring our homes would really benefit from
those of you who who have had success in this area. The ham community
needs a web site where we can share these experiences. Unless someone has
a better suggestion, I would suggest
http://www.eham.net/forums/ComputersAndSoftware/
where there are already some useful comments.
If you have had success, why not share what kind modems, routers, cabling,
connectors, etc, you used. Are there things you tried which didn't
work? What HF power levels do you run? What should we avoid?
