Watch for signs along roads on the outskirts of towns.
Ask the people at small car repair shops.
Look for trailer fabricators.
Yellow pages.
Ask at hot rod shops and automotive machine shops.
Beautiful work is done re splicing driveshafts.
Ask the maintenance people at your company.
Watch for trucks with gas bottles, hoses, and machinery on the road. Mobile
guys will come to you, which you need at 35'!

This is light work, so you need a good touch with smallish rods, or maybe
TIG/MIG. The pure fence welder will burn through in no time!

A sleeve splice is the best joint...close fit sleeve over the OUTSIDE of
two pieces of the same size. That takes all the load directly to the sleeve
and doesn't rely on welds.

Absent a sleeve, a lot of narrow straps crossing the joint is pretty good.

You can make a pretty good sleeve by slitting a piece of the base tube and
sliding it over the joint. The small gap is not a big deal.

If you will jig up the work with horses, stands, etc to get the tubing
perfectly aligned, it will save welder time.
